stands as a groundbreaking initiative in the region- the first integrated city dedicated to serving people with disabilities. With its unique blend of educational, diagnostic, rehabilitation, housing, and hospitality services, it represents a new era of inclusion and holistic care.
As part of this vision, Reach Inclusion was invited to deliver a specialized training program for the caregivers and staff who support individuals with disabilities every day.
What We Did
Our training combined both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical strategies, ensuring that caregivers left not only informed but also confident in applying what they had learned. The curriculum we designed covered:
Smooth Transitions
Teaching caregivers how to plan and support children and adults through changes in routine or environment, reducing stress and confusion.
Structured Schedules
Training staff to design and implement visual or written schedules, helping individuals feel secure and prepared throughout their day.
Behavioral Strategies
Providing guidance on how to respond to different types of behaviors with empathy, patience, and evidence-based interventions
Practical Resource Training
Introducing staff to tools from our Reach Resources collection, such as weighted vests, sensory squishy cubes, and noise-reducing headsets. Caregivers learned not just what these tools are, but how and when to use them effectively to support regulation, focus, and comfort.

For a pioneering space like Sanad City, caregiver training is essential to ensure that inclusion is not just a philosophy but a lived reality. By equipping staff with both strategies and resources, we helped strengthen the city’s commitment to creating an environment where individuals with disabilities can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
Through this collaboration, Reach Training extended its impact from classrooms to an entire city dedicated to inclusion , setting a standard for what is possible in the region and beyond.
