Reach Fun & Learn (Summer)

-A celebration of inclusion, growth, and hands-on learning

This summer, Reach Inclusion launched a joyful and enriching 6-week summer camp

titled Reach Fun & Learn, held from June 23 to August 1, 2024.

Designed for children aged 4–12, the program offered an inclusive environment

where learning met fun and every child had the opportunity to thrive.

Each week centered around an exciting theme, building key life skills,

academic foundations, and functional independence through a play-based approach.

The camp was supported by dedicated paraprofessionals who adapted activities

to meet individual needs, ensuring every child was engaged, supported, and celebrated.

Week 1: Under the Sea

Children explored marine life through storytelling, songs, crafts, and water play.

A visit to the aquarium brought the week’s theme to life,

reinforcing vocabulary, sequencing, and comprehension skills.

Week 2: Living Things

Little hands planted seeds while learning about what plants need to grow.

The week encouraged responsibility, observation, and fine motor development.

Week 3: Animals

From roars to chirps, children discovered animal sounds, behaviors, and habitats.

The highlight was a trip to the DJ Kennel,

where students identified animals they had learned about.

Week 4: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Students embraced sustainability by turning recyclables into creative crafts.

 Activities promoted environmental responsibility

while enhancing categorization, comprehension, and teamwork.

Week 5: Family

This heartwarming week focused on love, connection, and the importance of family.

Students played games and made chocolate candies and shared with their loved ones

during our Family Visit Day.

Week 6: Back to School & Personal Hygiene

Preparing for the new academic year, this week centered on routines and personal care.

Children practiced brushing teeth, combing hair,

and more- finishing the week with a playful spa day.

Winter Program

-A Week of Growth & Joy

This past December, Reach Inclusion hosted

a Winter Camp at Green Leaves School,

bringing together a diverse group of children aged 4 to 10.

Our mission was to create an inclusive, engaging, and empowering environment

where every child could learn, grow, and thrive while having fun!

For an entire week, we combined academics, life skills, social skills, and interactive

activities, ensuring that learning extended beyond textbooks. We believe in breaking

barriers and building bridges, giving children of all abilities the two magic weapons-

courage and confidence they need to navigate the world independently.
